Overview
This is a very useful item to have in order to survive in the 7 Days To Die world. It enables you to craft a lot of items that require a workbench. Additionally, it also provides you with the option to craft items on the workbench which you can normally craft using ingredients in your inventory. So this way you can parallelly craft multiple items normally as well as using the workbench.

Using A Workbench
The workbench is ready to use as soon as you place it down. Unlike the Forge, this item does not require any fuel source to operate. You only need to have the necessary ingredients required to craft a particular item.
Once you have all the required ingredients and have selected the corresponding item to craft, all you need to do is click on the craft option. As soon as this is done, all the ingredients required are moved from your inventory and into the workbench queue. Once the crafting has been completed, the item becomes available in the output slots.
Most advanced items in the game require a workbench in order to craft it. However, you are not just limited to crafting those advanced components on the workbench. It can also be used to craft items that you could normally do anyway using ingredients from your inventory.
Heat Map
An active workbench does have an im[act on the Heatmap of the & Days To Die World. Compared to a Campfire or Forge, the workbench creates 33% heat.

- It has been part of the game since A14
- You cannot repair destroyed Workbenches, or harvest and loot it.
- Since A16.4(b8), you can pick back up the workbench.
- Workbenches can be picked up and moved as of Alpha 16.4 (b8) on PC.
